RHeO 2 and 3 are powered by Bosch's new Hub Line motor, tucked quietly into the rear wheel – so they look like an ordinary bike, right up until the hill you were dreading turns into a non-event. Four power modes, turbo through to eco, put you in control of exactly how much help you want, backed by up to 400W of peak power and 45Nm of torque. No arriving flustered. No getting off to push. Just you, going further than you thought you would, for less effort than you expected.

Every RHeO is built on our Total Geometry approach – the same thinking behind our award-winning mountain bikes, blending frame geometry and component selection to keep the bike low, centred and stable. In practice, that means it's easier to balance from a standing start, steadier over potholes and drain covers, and less demanding to control whether you're signalling one-handed or carrying the weekly shop. With RHeO, you don't have to be a confident cyclist to ride confidently – we've designed it to inspire confidence for every rider, right from the first pedal stroke.

A motor and a proper battery don't have to mean a bike that fights you every time you need to move it. RHeO 2 weighs from 17.4kg*, RHeO 3 from 18.9kg** – light enough to carry up a flight of stairs, wheel onto a train, or lift over a step without a second thought.

The range for everyday

The 360Wh internal battery gives you the range to ride as far as your everyday demands – up to 72km (44 miles) of real-world range*. With a charge time of 3.5 hours from empty, you'll quickly be ready to go again, day after day.

Built for real-world weather

Not the weather in idyllic photos – the weather you'll actually ride in. Integrated lights mean you're seen whatever the time of day or the state of the sky. RHeO 3 comes with full mudguards as standard; RHeO 2 is ready for them whenever you want them – just add our RHeO mudguards for year-round wet-weather protection, sold separately.

Everything on a RHeO has been tested against the same real-world realities as our mountain bikes: mud, rain, potholes and all. A UK winter isn't a special case for us. It's the normal one.

With a stylish and contemporary frame design, RHeO looks just like a normal bike – rather than an expensive eBike. All to help keep your bike safer by not attracting unwanted attention on the streets so your everyday flow stays exactly that: yours.

Stay connected

RHeO works with Bosch's eBike Flow app – check your remaining range before you set off, plan a route around the hills you'd rather avoid, and keep your firmware updated automatically.

Every RHeO 2 and 3 comes with a Quad-Lock mount built into the stem, so your phone clips on securely and stays exactly where you need it, for navigation or anything else. Just purchase the QuadLock case that suits your phone. Plus, no trips to a dealer required; your bike updates itself, quietly, in the background.

Track your progress

The eBike Flow app keeps a record of every ride the moment you set off – distance, time, route and mode – building up a running picture of how your everyday journeys stack up. Sync it with Strava or Apple Health if you'd like to see it alongside the rest of your activity.

Smart security

Every RHeO comes with eBike Lock built in, free, through the eBike Flow app – a one-off setup turns your phone into a digital key. From then on, your eBike checks for your phone automatically over Bluetooth every time you switch it on; if it's not nearby, motor support stays off. No fumbling for an app, no remembering to lock anything separately – it just works, quietly, in the background.

If the worst happens, you can mark your eBike and its battery as stolen in the app within a few clicks. That flags it across Bosch's whole system – dealers, other eBike Flow app users and second-hand buyers are all warned if anyone tries to connect to it – and gives you what you need for a police report, straight from your eBike's digital pass. 

But remember: always lock your bike properly, wherever you leave it. eBike Lock and Mark as Stolen are there as a second layer on top, not a replacement for it.
