Removable battery
We’ve made removing Kado’s internal slide-in internal battery a cinch for storage, battery swaps, or off-the-bike charging: just open the battery cover, undo the captive bolt, unclip the battery connector and slide the battery out. Simple. By not cutting a compromising hole in the downtube, we’ve also maximised the frame’s strength and minimised its weight.

We’ve designed, tested, and proven every Kado in our native UK, riding all year round through the best and the worst of conditions. We put the mass
where it matters
We were the first to pioneer a low centre of gravity approach using a rotated motor, dropped in-tube battery configuration seen on our first-ever eMTB, the E-150, that launched in 2019. Delivering a radically low centre of gravity by packaging the additional masses of the motor and battery as low as they could go was the solution to unlocking the best handling.
Now we’ve pushed things further for our latest mid-travel eMTB, reducing its centre of gravity by 2.4%* compared to our previous mid-travel eMTB. It might not sound like much but this reduces the bike's rotational inertia by 12.5%, which improves the bike’s handling by making it significantly easier to turn and more agile on the trail.
