The Whyte Secta RSX is our top-of-the-range trail hardtail, built on 20 years of award-winning hardtail heritage. Designed and tested year-round in the UK's notoriously brutal weather, it's a modern hardtail mountain bike engineered to handle every trail and every condition.
The Whyte Secta RSX combines a fully-featured frame, confidence-inspiring geometry, capable componentry, and full weatherproofing – giving you the control and confidence to tackle technical climbs, aggressive descents, and all-day trail adventures, whatever the terrain or weather throws at you.

Modern 29er trail hardtail geometry
The Whyte Secta RSX is designed to deliver an exhilarating, capable ride – so you can turn up the fun on any trail. Progressive 29er trail hardtail geometry is paired with a 130mm-travel, short-offset fork, plus carefully curated components and tyre choice, to give the Whyte Secta RSX brilliantly balanced handling everywhere you ride. Whether you're powering up tricky technical climbs, hammering down techy descents, or riding everything in between, the Whyte Secta RSX keeps you capable, confident, and having fun.
Fully-featured frame design
The Whyte Secta RSX frame is fully featured, with intelligent details engineered to boost every ride. A compact seat tube and generous standover height combine with a long-stroke, full-insertion dropper post for maximum room to manoeuvre. Low-mounted bottle cage bosses keep the centre of gravity low for confident cornering and stable handling, even with a full water bottle on board. Additional top-tube bosses let you carry a tool or spare tube, while a threaded BBX63 bottom bracket, 12mm x 148mm Boost rear dropouts, and SRAM UDH compatibility round out a frame that's built to perform.
Weatherproof & low-maintenance
Built for the long haul, the Whyte Secta RSX is loaded with weatherproofing and practical features to keep it running brilliantly, ride after ride. External headtube cable routing with fully sealed cable runs and weather-sealed cable ports makes maintenance easy and extends component life. A weather-sealed seat post collar adds further protection against water and muck. Thanks to a big-tyre-friendly, single chain ring frame design, there's clearance for up to a 29x2.6in rear tyre with ample mud room – so you can run bigger rubber when you need it. A custom chainstay protector guards the frame against chain slap for a quieter ride.
