MX wheel sizing – 27.5in front for stability and confidence, 26in rear for agility and control – delivers a balanced, capable ride that helps young riders push further with confidence. A lightweight, tough frame and modern, progressive geometry make climbs more manageable and descents more controlled, while sharp, predictable handling keeps things fun on everything from local trails to bike park features. The heart of the ride
The Whyte Secta 26 MX’s lightweight, multi-butted frame is built around a purpose-designed junior tubeset — not simply scaled-down adult tubing — to keep weight low and control high, making climbs, long rides and technical sections far more manageable. Weather-sealed cable routing helps keep everything clean and protected from mud, spray and winter conditions, reducing maintenance and improving durability year-round. The frame is also dropper post ready, with internal routing to allow easy upgrade as skills progress, to give more control and confidence on steeper descents, rough trails and bike park features.
Tunable trail performance
We’ve fitted air-sprung suspension forks to give young riders a properly tunable set-up that delivers confidence from the first ride. Air spring adjustment makes it easy to match the fork to rider weight, ensuring balanced support, better control and a more composed feel on the trail. 100mm of controlled travel smooths out roots, rocks and rough ground, for comfort and control. With adjustable rebound for predictable handling and a lock-out for efficient climbing and smoother surfaces, it’s a setup built to keep things controlled, capable and fun.
