Our unique lowered centre of gravity concept optimises the distribution of battery and motor mass within the chassis – bringing them as low as possible – so you can experience an uncompromised trail connection and instantly reactive, corner-flicking, apex-clipping geometry.

We've also used our insight and experience to fit exactly the componentry you need to inspire you to take your riding further.

The huge 750Wh PowerTube is Bosch’s highest capacity e-Bike battery is perfect for big rides and combines with Bosch’s ultra-responsive, high torque Performance Line CX 85Nm motor with four power modes plus Bosch’s unique ‘extended boost’; combined with speed sensors that allow it to apply power in line with changes in your pedalling to provide progressive pedal assistance to help you conquer anything.
An E-160 For All, For Life
To ensure you can find your perfect trail partner, the E-160 is available in three spec levels – S, RS and RSX. The range is available in sizes from XS through to XL (model dependent), in three wheel configurations – 27.5”, 29” and MX (29” front/27.5” rear) – and six colours. And because it’s a Whyte we’ve completely weather-sealed every E-160, kept them water bottle friendly and used lifetime warrantied bearings throughout. Because when a bike is this good you’ll want to ride it as much as possible – year in, year out.
Smartly Connected
As long-term partners with Bosch, we’ve been perfectly placed to take full advantage of their new Smart System. Motor performance, battery efficiency and even security – and much more – can be controlled and customised through the eBike Flow app. We’ve also co-developed the E-160’s unique ‘Axial Rail’ battery system with Bosch to make removing and replacing the battery tube a breeze.
