We put the mass where it matters
We were the first in the world to pioneer a low centre of gravity approach on our first-ever eMTB, the E-150, that launched in 2019. Delivering a radically low centre of gravity by packaging the additional masses of the motor and battery as low as they could go was the solution to unlocking the best handling.
Now for ELyte EVO, we’ve set a whole new benchmark.
Our lowest centre of gravity ever
Our ELyte EVO RS has a 21% lower centre of gravity than our ‘Bike Of The Year’ award-winning E-160 RSX, while the MX-wheeled ELyte EVO Stag Works bike is 34% lower for the lowest centre of gravity of any eMTB we’ve ever made.
Rides brilliantly, all the time
For ELyte EVO we’ve also engineered the bike to ride brilliantly whether you run the PowerMore range extender or not; adding or removing it has almost negligible impact on the bike’s centre of gravity so it handles the same with or without it.

Since 2019, we’ve continuously refined and evolved this low centre of gravity concept further across every eMTB that we’ve made, allowing us to create what some modern bike testers describe as the best handling eMTBs they’ve ever ridden.

29er or MX wheels
Choose from 29er wheels front and rear (RS) or MX – aka ‘mullet’, 29in front, 27.5in rear – wheels (Stag Works).
Geometry adjustment
Switch from ‘High’ to ‘Low’ – to slacken geo by 0.6º and lower the bottom bracket by 8mm – for more gravity-friendly handling.
Short 155mm cranks
Coupling shorter cranks with the lowest centre of gravity delivers exceptional handling with the ability to pedal through the rough.
Takes two bottles
The frame takes both a full 750ml bottle (using the bottle cage adaptor, included), and an upper 400ml Fidlock bottle (on sizes M-XL).

Protected charge port
The charge port is positioned at the base and to the front of the seat tube, out of the firing line of the rear wheel spray.
Yoke gaiter
A gaiter on the chainstay yoke prevents against sand, grit and debris getting behind the suspension yoke.
2.5in tyre clearance
Generous mud clearance for up to 2.5in tyres between the seat and chainstays to prevent mud and gunk slowing you down.
Armoured frame
Frame protection on the lower downtube and chainstay help keep the frame in great shape.
Pivot bearing protection

We believe you should be able set-up your bike, however you want. Geometry. Wheelsize. Cable and hose routing. The lot.
This is why every ELyte EVO comes ready to route hoses in different ways, the ability to adjust the geometry, as well as being ready for you to change the rear wheelsize: from 29er to MX, or from MX to 29er. All so you can ride your bike, your way.
How high/low will you go?
Our Shape.It link shock extender with its brass ‘flip-chip’ insert lets you change the geometry – but importantly not the shock performance – of your bike so you can have consistent suspension performance, regardless of the position you’re running.
Switch it from its ‘high’ to its ‘low’ position to slacken the bike out by 0.6º and lower the bottom bracket by 8mm.
Why go low?
Go low if you want a slacker, lower ride for riding steep and technical terrain with an emphasis on descending. Also, the lower bottom bracket reduces the centre of gravity further for even better handling. Perfect for self-shuttling and gravity-focused riding.
Why go high?
Go high if you want to raise the bottom bracket for more responsive handling both up and downhill – perfect for mixed trail rides and all-day adventures out in the hills.

By swapping around the shock extender’s brass ‘flip-chip’ insert from its high to low setting you can effectively move the eye-to-eye length of the shock to steepen or slacken the head angle and raise or lower the bottom bracket (BB) height.
